I'm The Person I've Been Waiting For

The distinguishes of the person who acts up is brave enough to speak up from their opinion and their own truth of what they believe in. Others merely think about it of this is a positive, or negative results. I have the advantage as a student and a member of our community is speak out what I think it right and what I have believe throughout my life because on one can tell me what I want to say, or do because I am the only one who I control from what I want to do, or say.

I believe that we are heading towards the Brave New World. Adolous Huxley made a point about everyone's freedom which cause us going to the direction of less and less freedom which this cause to push away from freedom and more importantly, people want to focus more on overpopulation. This was an extraordinary thing because this never happen in history before. In the past, Hitler has used high advanced technology during battle. Technology cause the change of social condition and it makes people that didn't want feel like doing something. Television, cellphones, and other technology cause too much distraction for us up to this day. This also cause people have bad eyesight like me. Drugs are very popular because it can change us from the way we are. While people have depression, they use the drugs t make themselves feel better, but in the inside, your lungs are in dangerous which cause you to slowly die like my grandpa did.

What’s So Great About Gatsby

In my opinion, Gatsby is not great. I don’t think he’s good because he has secrets to other people and he keeps it to himself instead of other. I think Nick is honest with himself. Nick constantly hang out with dishonest people because he knows what each of those people are going through and sees what will happen to them in their life. He respects them and seek out relationships with them because he knows how they way they act because that’s hows they are and you can’t change them who they are. I think it means that Tom and Daisy can’t control themselves of what they want to do. I agree with the quote how Fitzgerald describes Daisy and Tom. I don’t understand how Daisy’s behave. I also don’t agree with her choices. I would not let Daisy date someone that I know. The quote means that you mean to be yourself. The quote is related to the theme of the “Great Gatsby”. In the book, most of the time, they always talk about the past with rumors, and stories of what each person which through their life. Most of the time they don’t think about the persent time of what they are doing.

Great Gatsby Chapter 5 & 6

Chapter 5:
Nick started t have a reflection between Gatsby and Daisy of how they feel about each other while she is with another man that she doesn't love. The green light in the story means about Gatsby telling Daisy that he wants a second chance to make her fall in love with him again.

Chapter 6:
It tells about a man name "James Gatz" that he decide t change his name when he was seventeen years old as his name as "Jay Gatsby". They also talked about a man named Cody that was rich, died and gave Gatsby $25,000 to use. Nick haven't seen Gatsby in a few weeks, but Gatsby was meeting Tom and Gatsby knows tom's wife. Gatsby decided to have Tom and his friend to stay over for dinner and to the party. Tom suspect Gatsby as a bootlegging. Daisy said Gatsby made his money from drugs and stores of it. While Gatsby and Daisy were dancing, she doesn't seen happy. After the party, Gatsby was depress he notice that Daisy was enjoying herself in the party. Gatsby talk about his past with Daisy and he wants their past to come back to life again even though Nick says that its impossible.

Great Gatsby Chapter 5 Notes

Gatsby was acting nervous so he decide to ask Nick to swim with him. Nick ask Gatsby if him can get Daisy to meet with him. Gatsby said yes. Gatsby also offer a job to Nick which can be an illegal business. Nick didn’t want to have the job. Gatsby was starting to get nervous about meeting with Daisy so Gatsby decide to someone to cut Nick’s grass and make flowers. After that, Gatsby disappears when Daisy came. When Gatsby when in front Nick door, he didn’t look so well. Finally Gatsby and Daisy meet, Gatsby was feeling overwhelm which Nick leaves them alone for a half an hour. Gatsby made a tour in his  mansion. Gatsby tells Daisy about his room that he sees her dock. Daisy started to cry while looking at Gatsby.

Gatsby Chapter 3 & 4

Chapter 3:

Gatsby was impress about Nick being part of the party. Jordan told Nick that she heard a story about "the most amazing thing" about the butler telling Jordan that Gatsby wants to meet her. Gatsby has left Nick because he got a phone call from Philadelphia so Nick decides to go home. After Nick leaving the party, it became crowded because their was an accident so Nick tried to get out. Nick wants to tell his daily life in the future about having a relationship with Jordan Baker. Nick says that she is attracted, but there is a problem with Jordan Baker. He doesn't have feeling for her because she is a dishonest person, and she also cheats at golf.

Chapter 4:

Nick saw some women that are drunk talking about Gatsby's identity which can cause rumors. Nick realize the people that attending Gatsby's party know nothing about him. Gatsby and Nick went n a trip together at the city for lunch and Gatsby talks about his past life. Somehow, Gatsby claims to be the most wealthy son at San Francisco, but he is from Oxnard. He’s a jewel collector, has a war medal, and hears a sad story about Gatsby. Gatsby got pulled over from the police, Gatsby shows the officer a card, and the officer apologize to himself Meyer Wolfshiem is Gatsby business partner. Wolfshiem tells Gatsby which made Nick suspicious about Gatsby being involved in a crime. Nick introduce Tom to Gatsby and this cause Gatsby to be embarrass which he leaves and doesn’t say goodbye. After that, Nick meets Jordan and she tells him that Gatsby was starting a romance with Daisy. During the war, they fell in love. Unfortunately, Daisy had to leave her family to go with Tom instead of Gatsby. Gatsby never let her go so he decide to have a mansion near the bay, or nearby her so he can win her love over Tom. Nick tries to invite Daisy to Gatsby, but she refuses because he might have a fear that he is going to see her again.

Chapter 3:

Nick got an invitation from Gatsby that he was invited to his party which he throws every Saturday at his mansion. When he goes to the party, people weren't invited to the party. They just go there and don't care about the invitation. Also, people talk about Gatsby in the party. They say that he was a spy a German, he graduated at Oxford, and he killed someone. Then, Nick meets Jordan Baker at the party and he enjoys being in the party. They also find a drunk man at Gatsby library looking at the books and talks about them to Nick and Jordan. They sit outside of the party and they both met man sitting next to them. The man thinks that Nick is familiar to him. They both realize that they were in the WWI battle together. The man introduce himself as "Gatsby" which cause Nick to be confuse. Gatsby calls him "old sport".
