I Am GSD

My experience as a independent learner, I have hard time with precalculus and phsyics because they both have a lot of math that I don't understand, or I forgot that I learned it in the past. Learning something old which becomes more advance can be very challenging.

What's Your Big Question?

Question: Why do we have the freedom of speech, right, and religion, but why don't we have the freedom to do whatever we want to do? Why do we have rules to follow?

My impression of the "What's Your Big Question?" was about people wanting to take a risk by taking new challenges.

How I Learn

I organize my school stuff by putting my classwork and homework for all my subjects in my binder with dividers show I can know where everything is at and I have an agenda to know what to do for homework for my classes. I don't manage my time for homework because I just want to get through my homework and be done with it. Learning or remembering new information can be challenge to me because it can be very hard and it times a long time for me something to remember.

The Earth on Turtle's Back

My first impression, several paragraphs talked about the 'Great Tree', and our of nowhere there are talking animals. I think that the animal live below the other of the world from the humans and no one is taking care of the animals.

Question: Why were the animals swimming beneath the surface?

In my opinion, "The Earth on Turtle's Back" is about animals can be a helping hand and very caring to humans. My dogs always care about me and sometimes overprotective, too.

Reflection on Richard Cory with Video

When I memorized the poem "Richard Cory" I started to think about it differently. I thought about why he might have killed himself, and I thought about how the poem relates to my life today. It seems like money doesn’t always make you happy because you can make yourself and everyone happy just just by being the real you.

The Right to Your Opinion

My first impression, several paragraphs that expression your opinion can cause problems like violence, or negativity, and other people think that your opinion is wrong.

Questions: Why people don't except other people's opinions? Don't we have the freedom to tell our opinions?

In my opinion, "The Right to Your Opinion" people don't have the right to control my opinion because I have the right to control my opinions. You shouldn't use violence whenever my opinion is right is, or wrong.

The Socratic Method

My first impression was understandable that high school students wants to achieve their goal like finishing high school and graduate, and planning to do something after that like going to college, university, or getting a job. There are other options besides these three options.

I asked questions to myself: Are you going to happy after you are done with high school and college? Are you hoping that your dream, or hobby will help you earn enough money to help your family like they did to you? Are you ready for adulthood to see what the real world will be like? Will this life make me happy?

In my opinion, "The Socratic Method" is like the teacher asking you if you ready to go to adulthood and what I wanted to do after I finish achieving my goals. To be honest, I'm not even ready to go to adulthood. I don't like to think about the future because I'm can have negative thoughts in my head. The negative thoughts inside of my head can turned into anger. That clicks on and off for me, but most of the time I can't control it. This has been happening to me after a few years my dad left me and my older brothers because he cheated on my mom and I will never forgive him for that.
